The trick is to turn it on at midnight
I really wish I had thought of that answer 30 years ago when old people asked me to fix this.
Unplug it for fifteen or more minutes to reset shit, then plug it in at exactly noon or midnight
First thing you need to know is that the machine and thus the task has been obsolete for two whole generationer.
