I tend to get ‘good vibes only’ types who walk into a room/bus/train, walk over to whatever corner I chose, sit in front of me, start ordering me around, and then after three or four orders when it stops being fun to play along and I start ignoring them, they declare me the devil, and demand I apologize for personally inflicting literally everything that has gone wrong in their lives.²
This has happened to me my entire adult life. To the point when someone asks me who I am i sometimes give some fucking anime-ass ‘I am an ill wind, a dread omen, the herald of misfortune and harbinger of doom. I am grief. I am hate. I am ruin-made flesh. I am the knowledge that you will wither die and everything you’ve ever loved will be forgotten. offers handshake You?’ Just for shits and giggles. I swear I can smell them at this point, and I’m usually just, like, sitting there reading a book or whatever.
¹common phrasing. Sometimes it’s a little less basic
²this has happened with total strangers in my home town, and foreign countries where I’m an obvious tourist.
Maybe to a point? But also if you feel everyone’s treating you poorly, it might be something about you (inability to set boundaries for example).

I’m wondering this sometimes. If you (general you, not you specifically) feel everyone treats you poorly, how would you know if it’s on you, or not?
Hopefully a good therapist or friend would tell you. Or some self reflection and maturity growth over time.
