It’s not this tweet, but I have seen people try shaming Brosnan over that.

There are unhealthy beauty standards set to both genders. They’re just geared differently. Women are suppose to be prizes and men are suppose to be warriors. Tate is the result of decades of masculine marketing and the exact thing the movie Fight Club warned about.

Look at what they did to Luke Skywalker toys over time.

It is exactly the Prince Adam mold from the Masters of the Universe line repainted. Almost looks like one of those Asian market knock-off figures.

And the real tell is that the warrior ideal combined with super broad chest and shoulders are meant to denote strength, but the strongest men tend to be thick through the middle and lack the bodybuilder v-taper they give these toys. Not that bodybuilders aren’t stronger than most people by far, but when you look at the people who hold records for lifting the most weight they’re nothing like those toys. It’s just as shallow and dumb as a lot of women’s beauty standards.

For example, sumou wrestlers! Built like tanks, hit like tanks.

Its highly ironic that both genders are failing at what they are supposed to be though. Women are not prices and men are not warriors. We know this. No?

      Its just marketing. :)

If anything, the gender wars have shown how women can be just as awful as men. No gender is a price or warrior. We are just… People.
