I’ve only watched his Netflix specials and his old Dave Chapelle show. Maybe he made some public statements that I’m unaware of where he publicly stated being against trans people. I don’t actually follow him on any sort of media. If that’s the case I apologise and look forward to being corrected with links and stuff.
None of his shows that I’ve seen (and I’ve tried to see them all online) contain anything but jokes and the occasional heart to heart. So that’s why he seems like a great guy to me.

Anyway, it’s clear that your mind is set. To you, he’s not transphobic, because the times when he is transphobic don’t count, and no matter what transphobia of his you encounter in the future, you will find a reason for it not to count as well.
