I still write my grocery lists on paper. Tried doing it a notes app and just didn’t like it. Also why I disable all notifications from apps other than email and messaging.

Writing out my grocery list makes me remember. Once I’ve written it down I generally don’t need to look at it. If I rely on an app I’ll be looking at that damn app every two minutes.

I do this too! I bought a couple of mini notebooks so I can keep my shopping lists in my purse.

I just try to remember. Usually I come home with about 2/3 of what I needed and several things I didn’t.

My wife does most of the grocery shopping these days.

Forgetting stuff is the reason I make shopping lists. To many times was I sent out to get a few things buy still ended up not getting everything or not the right stuff.

Yeah … If it’s genuinely important that I get something, I’ll write it down, but usually I have a general idea of what I want my options to be for the immediate future and can remember enough to roughly satisfy that.

I usually don’t bother writing things down because I’m worse at remembering to look at what I wrote than I am at remembering an approximation of a list.
