The elderly are targetted egregiously from “buy my bible” to “donate to my fund to stop the vil left” to “make sure you pay your tithe to the local church”. Theres also the massively overpriced jewelry commercials targetting seniors and the health coverage scams, but those arent directly Trumps fault so i find them less entertaining to bring up. Either way, the elderly are hemorrhaging money almost at the same rate the rich are getting richer.
Inherit what? Most boomers that owned hotook out reverse mortgages on them, and most that you talk to proudly state that they are going to spend it all before they die. Few millennials are gonna get anything from their parents.
Same with us Gen Z with Millennial older siblings, and a gen X mom and boomer father. Anything I stood to inherit (despite being “free labor” for eight housing unit from ages 6 - 24) I stand to inherit from my silent gen grandfather who made a trust I’m not allowed to utilize or hear about till my grandma dies. Plus the odds are not on my side to even have me outlive my 75 year old father, ha.
