I have one but never use it. With only 2 people in the house, it’s faster to just wash our two plates and the skillet right after using them.

This is the only case in which I use timers, really, when I want something to run on startup, every once in a while, but only after it’s confirmed that the internet is up.

My system has timers, but I use cron anyway. It’s more simple, IMO.

I don’t think most people have any idea what data is collected or what is done with it.

It’s not that uncommon for people to have friends, family, roommates, landlords, repair people, and such who aren’t totally trustworthy, and who will snoop around in their private business if there’s a chance.

When people are identified and arrested based on photos and videos, you don’t think it’s a serious concern? You can always change your email address. You can’t change your face easily or cheaply.

I generally block bots, and I don’t see a point to responding to their posts.

I don’t use apps or services that require a photo, video of myself, upload of my ID, etc.

I use it regularly.
