I mean an economy never really “crashes” completely. People will always be trading goods for services. So this will always depend on your definition of crashing. But when services like electricity, food, and heat are being denied to more and more people, it’s a sign that things are falling apart.
Depends on the phone I’m sure but every device I own has this setting.
Fortunately they won’t need most normal PC hardware for this. At least not CPU’s and GPUs AFAIK.

Max charge level is not something the BMS can decide for you because it’s a trade off between battery health and daily charge level. That’s why they ask you to choose.

Well not charging to 100% all the time will improve your battery life, and if you keep your devices a long time and have a usage pattern that allows charging it less like I do (I leave mine on a wireless charge pad at work), then it makes sense to make some adjustments to that particular setting.

Having the lithography tech in Europe is a huge help, but there is a ton of other stuff that goes into building chips which comes from all over the world. It’s still a very long road. AFAIK there are not even plans to build a modern fab yet.
China has been able to build chips for a long time, just not modern ones. And they aren’t that close now. I suspect they are just eating extremely low yields with massive subsidies to get where they are today as they are doing it all with lithography designed for larger nm chips.

Russia’s theory of victory is the same as it’s been in every war they’ve been in. To wear down the enemy’s numbers by throwing more bodies at the problem. And there are some signs this is working. It looks like Ukraine probably is fielding less soldiers this year than they did last year. Russia is fielding considerably more. There are a lot of Ukrainian desertions. I’m not sure how long Ukraine can keep this up. This is my biggest fear for Ukraine.
