That’s my point: more people, more perspective, more empathy.

Cuz 40 years of tory rule, then we get labour again and its just blue tories
Also we have extra uni students… Uni students meet other wierdos and meeting strange people makes you more worldly and open minded. That and the mind expanding properties of pot.

20·3 days agoWell, its good that people aren’t able to give the corruption machine money
WERO can’t happen fast enough, however. No longer should the US fiscal sector cream 2% off of european transactions.

51·4 days agogoogle doesn’t dogfood k8s. It helps fuel my conspiracy that k8s is a premature scaling trap to saddle the startup competition with 300-500k worth of devops spend each.
You my friend, have aphantasia. IIRC its about 1-3% of the population.
Its actually wilder than that, some people have aphantasia where they can’t imagine shapes or forms in their mind. If you describe a dog, they do not have a mental image of the dog.
This is kinda why I played eurotrucks.

I would drag my balls over broken glass at the moment for a secure job where I did something mundane. Ideally one that doesn’t actively worsen the world. I’ve already done too much of that.
Worth the read, and Chuck must be protected at all costs.

351·5 days agoSo what do we do to unfuckulate the US after this is all over?
Short of a massive governmental and police purge, and a flat goverment-wide ban on people holding office and literally bulldozing these facilities into the ground, or simply torching these facilities so they can’t be used to harm again… What do the Americans do?
They’re a pariah state and it deeply upsets me that my nations leaders are still kowtowing to their interests.

4·5 days agoYou’ll find that it’ll work just fine on 100W USB C unless you have a dGPU in which case it really wants the bigboy power brick.
If it makes you feel better, soon there will be adapters from USB PD 3.1 to 230W Lenovo Square sooner or later. And sometimes, older thinkpads with the square and circle connectors have had little kits made to give them USB C charging. Its only a matter of time.
And for what its worth, if it wasn’t gonna be C, Lenovo Square is a good one since I have tons of them knocking about, and eventually so does everyone.

Ugh, I forget. I’ve not been on idiot island in quite some time so I’ve not had to see their faces in a while.
