The electrical losses are way less than the resistances of a mechanical drivetrain. It’s around 10-25% lower apparently.
From what I remember, the water that is near the fissile material is in its own closed loop tank and has heat exchangers that transfer heat to another water loop that goes to the turbines.


The food industry has changed a lot since GMOs and various Herbicides/Pesticides have entered the picture. Ultra processed foods are rife with modified foods so they can be sold at a lower cost. I would be surprised if this wasn’t part of the problem.
Oof. Good to know. Ethically, there seems to be no real good options.
Maybe a used vehicle with low ecological impact is the best moral choice at this point?
