I do. It’s fine. Probably overpriced when I bought it, but you can find good deals now (and on the insanely priced base for it). It does definitely feel cheaper than a Pixel phone, but it works perfectly well.

Do you mean kicking that journalist off under pressure and revealing a log in IP? I honestly don’t expect my email provider to go to jail for me, it’s a pretty piss poor medium for private communication to begin with. I do, however expect it to work. Every clearnet service requires email, and losing access locks you out of your whole life nowadays. The argument I make to normies to get off gmail has moved from “They’re spying on you” to “AI hallucinations lead to bans of random accounts daily, can you afford to lose it?”
This is why I’d never buy an Italian digital service, or really any engineered product. Proton is Swiss and I’ve never heard a horror story like this about them.
It is posh to read theory, it will never be a mainstream proletarian act to sit down with a book full of SAT words and deeply read it.
Breaking up the banks won’t end sexism, so why bother?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's a video game that you just don't get the hype about?
57·12 days agoAll contemporary multiplayer FPS games. I went through a phase where I had 5-digit frag counts on Quake more from time spent than talent, and I got tired of it, but people just pour ENDLESS hours into multiplayer FPSes…

Most of your indies on Steam will run on anything remotely modern, even integrated graphics. AMD is easier. RAM costs more than you’d think nowadays but I would still get at minimum 16gigs. Any decent AMD video card will play most AAA’s that are on Steam at 1080p, and I find Steam doesn’t want to ever do 4k anyway, but maybe that’s a quirk of my setup. I’d also get more HDD space than you think you need, ever more games are like 200GB fully installed.
