I have called the police 5 times in my life. Once when someone broke into my car, once when someone broke into my home. Twice when someone was illegally dumping trash on the side of the road, and once qhen a scammer intercepted an 18,000 dollar check. In the 3 cases of theft/B&E i was told there was nothing they could do and given a paper record of what happened to give to my insurance. In the cases of illegal dumping(I was following the people and providing liscense plate number) i was told “we dont handle that, call the county and they will come clean it up”

The police, at least in my area, are fucking worthless. They exist solely to give tickets and fines, while do little to nothing to acrually combat crime or enforce law.

Id even be content to let the eight figure incomes slide… at least at first. Lets start with the 100-200 dudes that have a ten digit income and work our down… the tens and nines might be enough to fix things and still leave us with plenty of ultra rich to complain about.

Im already pretty much there. Lemmy is pretty much the last place I “surf the internet.” Outside of here I only use the internet for work purposes. It is absolutely dead as source of entertainment or media.

Yeah, i dont remmember exactly when I quit watching, but somewhere along the way, negan started bothering me and the trash people creating their own language in less than 3 years and keeping zombie gladiators to fight people, i just couldnt take any more of the shows garbage…
