Right now, it’s all tech-industry hype, which we should be very skeptical of. None of those robots are proven to work well and that’s what needs to happen first before there’s any chance of them becoming mainstream. I could see humanoid robots being used in some capacity, at some point. But with those first generation products, I fully expect the tech industry to overpromise and underdeliver.
I’d personally keep it generic. I guess something like “Sorry, I just get nervous when interacting with other people sometimes. You haven’t done anything wrong.”. Hopefully reassures her, but doesn’t make it awkward by bringing up any sexual feelings.

IDK what to think about it. I don’t really see the “gravity and urgency of the situation” given that no actual children are involved. The whole “it drives pedophiles to act out their fantasies in real life” argument is too close to the “violent videogames cause people to be violent” argument for my taste. I also feel like the whole outrage is used by the French government as a distraction tactic for their own failings. There are way worse things happening on the internet that need to be tackled.
On the other hand I would still prefer if those shops didn’t sell them, so people don’t accidentally stumble upon them. But demanding Shein give out the identities of people who purchased these dolls is way out of line IMO, as I don’t believe they’ve committed any crimes.
Worth noting that those are the prices directly at the energy exchange. What people and companies will actually pay will differ from those values quite a bit due to taxes, fees etc.
“Bad” is relative, but it does reduce the long-term lifespan of your battery. Ideally you should charge to 80%, but if you actually need the 100%, I wouldn’t worry about it either.
