Judging by the rest of your message, I think you’d be a great teacher, you should become one.

albeit locked system files make some advanced setups a headache
You could install something like CachyOS Handheld Edition. It still has SteamOS’ game mode but also comes with pacman and paru.

I’m trying to find the correct Seikaisen
Welp, considering how everything is going, I’m pretty sure this one’s not it.

Your mom is clearly part of The Organization.

Maybe scratch Road warden. I just remembered the text was too small for me on the Deck, I played it on the Legion Go. Sorry for the confusion.
But Heaven’s Vault is definitely worth a try.

Agree on Pentiment and Citizen Sleeper, I played them in bed before going to sleep. Another game I played the same way and loved was Heaven’s Vault. If you don’t have a problem with using the touchpads instead, Roadwarden is a good one too, text heavy but quite interesting IMHO.

I own an OG Legion Go and owned a Steam Deck prior to that. The Deck’s SD card reader is definitely better.

Currently playing Wrath of The Righteous, 84 hours in and it doesn’t look like it’s going to end soon.
I played it at launch for about 60 hours, haven’t touched it since. I started using reddit to participate in its subreddit in 2016, the hype this game created was crazy.

I still have to play Fabio Rebirth, but I can’t find the strength. Playing Fabio Remake Intergrade was such a painful experience for me, every single interaction is delayed to make the game longer, and I didn’t really like the combat system. I ended up playing it on the easiest difficulty just to see how they butchered changed the story. Ironically the only part I found enjoyable was the Yuffie DLC. I might play Rebirth in 2026, my cousin will probably keep pestering me until I do it.
The decision is yours to make after all, and it’s a pretty important one. But I think any educational system (wherever you’re from, doesn’t matter) can always use more teachers that actually care for their students and aren’t there just to have a job, which isn’t always the case unfortunately.
