Fediverse is worse than Reddit. Mod abuse, admin abuse, disinformation, and people simping for literal terrorists.
I’m not even going to entertain this moronic point you’re trying to make. If you want to stay in some sort of tiny social media bubble I’d simply suggest you host your own instance and just defederate from everyone and everything. Then you have all your small scale communications with yourself for yourself.
TIL Wordpress is using ActivityPub. I think one issue we have is how hard it is to find instances, communities, or even other media like this, since they won’t even show up in your search if they’re not already federated with your instance. And since many servers block crawlers, it is hard to index them externally too. I think that really limits the reach and the perceived size of the Fediverse.
Crazy weak, considering how loud the Discuit advocates were at the time. Of course, mbin technically just adds to Lemmy, since they’re almost fully federated.
Not that there’s a lack of Lemmy apps. I want more mbin apps for sure, especially Eternity would be great as that has a good compact mode.
Better UI & UX. As long as federation works it does not matter whether they are Lemmy communities or mbin magazines. So, why use Lemmy when you can make use of the same communities on mbin?
Deutschland hat keine vergleichbaren Langstreckenwaffen und schon gar keine Hyperschall basierenden. Solche Dinge entwickelt man auch nicht mal eben so über ein paar Monate or wenige Jahre hinweg, welche für den Konflikt mit Russland entscheidend wären. Für ersteres gibt es immerhin potentielle Planungen auf europäischer Ebene aber auch das wird seine Zeit in Anspruch nehmen.
