It does cap the wildest, antisocial forms of success that are insane excess.

Progressive taxation should mean you can never gain enough power, which capital is, to warp your society with power beyond your single vote, whether that power is expressed through direct bribery, lobbying, or mass media propaganda to try to trick your fellow citizens into voting and advocating against their own interests with your booming, capital powered voice that drowns out those you disagree with merely because you’ve exploited more capital into your private account than others.

I don’t see any shame, horror, or problem with putting a hard cap on how much an individual can accumulate, as other people live here too.

Despite what Elon Musk believes, this whole planet shouldn’t be his personal playground, but that’s what it means to become a trillionaire, entire governments will bow at your feet. That’s perverse. No unelected, unaccountable individual should hold so much power, unless humanity wants to live in a hell of its own making.

IF there’s another real election, and IF the Neoliberals win, they’ll do NOTHING to reign in the capitalists that fund the fascists because they’re bribed to protect the “free market,” just as the Fascists are.

All them winning in 2028 might do is buy a little time before the Fascists are on the march the following cycle. That’s why it’s ignorant when people claim the only reason we’re collapsing is Trump. Reagan set the table for fascism and every president since has furthered that outcome. Whether this happened in 2020,2024, 2028, this was happening.

So vote for the Neoliberals all you want. I do it out of the starfish parable, to one delayed fascist action, it matters, but we’re still in a capitalist fascist hell, and until we have something to vote or riot for that will bring the capital markets to cinder, nothing can improve. Sports are games.

Games are supposed to be inclusive and fun.

Society taking games deathly serious (and equivocating it with academic merit, aka serious pursuits) is the problem.

People rioting and murdering if the game didn’t work out for their team is the problem. Putting billion dollar stakes on games is the problem.

Trans people or any people wanting to play games with their friends should be what society fosters and nurtures as the entire fucking point of society’s existence. Something something… planting trees something something knowing they’ll never sit under…

I always find it peculiar and proof of self-hatred that humans are so averse and judgemental about reveling in our sexuality.

It’s a major part of who we all are, whether we choose to deny that or not. Cultures and world religions always run by monied interests would prefer we spend our time miserable collecting more for their dragon hoard piles as they live in hyper-decadent debauchery, and most of us have been too fucked in the head with sexual and “don’t be laaaazy” shame to be fixable, but humanity would have been so much happier if we spent less time sacrificing ourselves to the God of economic metastasis and more time fucking, especially in an age of birth control.

We might not even have put ourselves on the express lane to self-extinction we’re currently careening down in search of more treasure for the masters.
