Unfortunately, unless you have perfect aim and force, the person who can most quickly reuse the brick may be your intended victim. So just be ready for that.

It was at a white supremacist rally/protest, the bricks were thrown by his cohorts.
I still like the brick idea better, though.
Tin cans with tomatoes are also valid, also full to recycle after its use. Also easier to throw.
Brick also comes with the benefit of a much higher chance of permanently removing the fascist and their harm.
