    I’ve read that one too – not sure if it was the fault of the translators, but it had better structure to it.

    The hill I will die on: the English translation of Nena’s 99 Luftballoons is far more poetic than the original. Some translators just have that magic ability to see what the author was going for, and then put it much better in a different language.
