I would care more maybe if they paid me more. Not gonna just do more work for free.

New to the sistem?

This is happening to me right now in school. I have a good bit of experience in the field mostly looking to get a degree to prove I’m marketable in my new country. So I see students in our group project making really bad decisions, I will warn them, but when they ignore me I’m hands off. They want to learn the hard way that’s fine lol

The key to not hating work and getting promotions is, only give a fuck about what your manager and managers manager care about. Do they care if it’s convoluted processes? Then you didn’t need to worry about it.
