Marginalized with little support, a very american trait, and exactly why them pointing it out as an overall criticism of “America” hurts. They hit the mark.
You really can’t see the broader context here? You’re really incapable? They’re not posting to hurt the marginalized, they don’t care if they ever see it. They’re posting for the rest of you, as commentary that this is how you end up in a selfish suportless individual culture. It’s exaggerated of course but it’s packing some heat. The method they’re choosing to do this is to mock the marginalized. When you’re resorting to “the end justifies the means” to excuse behavior, it’s probably time to take a step back and really look at what you’re saying.
