This comic is always wholesome and lovely, but this one hits really hard.
This is ancient advice.
Be true to yourself and honest with others. Why pretend to be someone you’re not, just to gain the favor of people you don’t really like? Be yourself, that way people who like you for you, will be drawn to the real you, and people who don’t like you will stay away. Simple as.
The fear is that “no one will like the true me.” In the very unlikely event that happens, you’re still better off without the stress. The reality is, there are a lot of cool, freaky-weird people in the world who will like you just the way you are.
