In the 1960’s, a group of women in healthcare formed a new organization to address a glaring lack of information in female sex health. They started the print publication Our Bodies Ourselves to share real, evidence based articles and stories about everything from periods and reproduction to relationships.
Now completely online, they still provide the most up to date, factual resources on intersectional women’s health, fight for reproductive and sexual freedom, and share stories about women’s and gender diverse people’s experiences from around the world.
My mom had copy from the original publication, and I was gifted an updated version when as a teen. It was my bible into womanhood.

No problem! I randomly searched to see if they were mentioned here already, surprised they weren’t, so I’m sharing the feminism.
They’re like a feminist hydra, the more you look into them, the more amazing projects you find they were a part of.
