    Explanation: Elagabalus was an Emperor of Rome during the early 3rd century AD, and they (as their gender identity is a matter of perpetual debate) were anything but a good Emperor. Elevated to the position at the very responsible age of 14 by their politically influential grandmother after a brief civil war, they uh, proceeded to demonstrate exactly why teenagers should not be given power. Amongst their debaucheries and cruelties, Elagabalus was said to have at one point hitched young women to their chariot and whipped them as they pulled them around the city of Rome.

    … don’t give teenagers absolute power. It very rarely works out.
