The President rapes children. When you set the standard that low, this story feels like responsible government by comparison.

This isn’t unique to the president, it’s a product of the institution.

Obama’s SS agents got busted visiting brothels in Brazil. Bush Jr’s torture prisons regularly had soldiers engaged in rape and other forms of sexual humiliation. The IDF is flush with these sadomasochist freaks. Texas children’s prisons get a scandal every three to five years about wardens pimping out prisoners or just abusing them for sport.

This is just cop shit. Always been with us. Never gets properly investigated or prosecuted. It’s a function of the system.

One of the sources, who claims Banks tried to invite him along on one of these trips, told the Examiner, “I don’t know how he became the chief of the Border Patrol with his character. He’s going to third-world countries to take advantage of poor f------ women, which disgusts the hell out of me.”

This guy is so close to getting it.

It’s a concern because government officials should assume every foreign sex worker they run into may be a honeypot.

In addition to the human trafficking concerns brought up elsewhere

It’s a concern cause someone that is meant to be an upstanding citizen is using women that are/have suffered numerous forms of abuse. Fuck everything else.

His “accusers” are his colleagues and underlings, people he apparently bragged about this to. He arranged government trips around opportunities to patronize prostitutes, allegedly. Even if the acts themselves were as consenting-adults as could be, he sounds like a bad choice to manage, well, anybody.

Illegal sex work is the result of human trafficking. And immigration laws facilitate human traffickers.

What you’ve got is a man reaping the fruits of his labor. He harasses and tortures refugees so that they have nowhere to run. Then he visits the places they’re forced to work and generously tips the pimps who do the local policing of young women.

I don’t see the point of making a big deal out of someone utilizing SW services. Were the girls (or guys no judgey) like 14 years old or something?

agreed, but only if it’s not someone who is part of an organization that routinely demeans SWs and the like

      otherwise, shame the hypocrites

I also like that angle but I just know most people reading this tidbit are going to have more of an issue with him using SWs at all than the hypocrisy.

This is actually consistent: the function of borders is as global apartheid, the ability for powerful people to engage in sex tourism and exploitation is one of the intended outcomes. The purpose of borders is so that Michael Banks can solicit sex workers while overseas.

Trump haters get mad that SW is frowned on with loud conservatives, but then when someone engages in SW who works for/supports Trump, then it’s not acceptable. Shameful.

It’s only an issue if he’s embarrassed enough that it could be used as leverage against him. Honeypots are not an uncommon method of extortion.

Him being a high ranking government official is what makes it a problem.

It depends on exactly where he’s going. Somewhere with strict controls and protections for the workers is no problem.
