What is this, a one sentence horror contest?
I love cashews. Eat them by the fistful. I always think about the energy and time to get each one of those nuts to my table, only for me to gobble them down in 3 seconds
Does Germany have laws about trucks taking over?
Where I live, trucks commonly mix between the 2-3 slowest lanes, passing each other at the same speed they’re limited to. It really makes no sense to me to keep changing lanes to avoid them, and it drives me crazy.
I set my car to drive the limit and just stay in the middle lane, which produces much less traffic than winding around. If you’re passing me on the fast lane, you’re likely breaking the law./* In the context of the comic, blocking mid lane when sides are empty is wrong, I agree. I just like to rant
I dont really put my hands close to the blades when it’s unplugged either. One could have a brain fart and think it’s unplugged.
Paranoid? Yes. Farted? Often. Brain? MIA
Thanks, I can now enjoy the meme to it’s full extent again.

Scary stuff.
Can someone ELI5 the c dynamic arrays - how does this fit into the infrastructure?
Inkscape is a free vector editor that handles pdf edits relatively well. Always my goto.

I remember OO was incredibly painful to get running. When I finally managed, I just tore down the whole thing and never looked back.
Oh it’s going to squash alright

21·7 days agoI hate to say it, but trolley cables are ugly, at least where I’ve seen them. It makes the streets look like old times, when each building or home had a dedicated cable going to it from a pole.
I know it’s better than batteries, but is there no other way?
I had assumed it was a remark made under the breath but loud enough to be overhead…
These ‘unlimited’ scams are getting out of hand. All I wanted was to store the library of alexandria in plain text.

8·9 days agoI use them as a DDNS, and a first line of defence.
It seems very wasteful, doesn’t it?
The truth is that I often need to access these from a device that doesn’t have local access to the server, such as a company laptop, or a phone on mobile network.
This is also given for anyone outside of my house.
As such, I often don’t bother setting up local access, except for specific services that are critical or use a lot of bandwidth that can go locally. Not to mention password and bookmark management, which is a little part, but it can get out of hand (I have about 50 services/front-ends).
TLDR: Your can use cloudflare or alternatives with fallback on local for most services, if you set it up that way

Thanks though
