8 hours agoBecause Pokemon could do way better, the whole point of the games going off the 3ds was supposed to be that they wouldn’t be held back by the hardware. No, graphics are not all that matter. But am I wrong for expecting games made by a “AAA” company with infinitely more budget and manpower to look like a finished game? Compared to other games released on the same hardware like breath of the wild, Pokemon games look like tech demo leaks. Maybe they need to go back to 2d sprites? I don’t know, but looking at how they never skip a beat taking down a fan game or rom hack tells me they themselves know their games are ass and they need to get rid of any competition.
I like learning and having control over my pc. But it’s mainly the learning part for me, followed the wiki a second time installing arch on my Thinkpad last week and felt just as satisfied as the first time. But no shame in using archinstall.
