They’re not. It’s absolutely something that should have been implemented, but there just isn’t any mechanism for legally ousting sitting Senators other than them being indicted on criminal charges. Otherwise Fetterman would have been gone ages ago and would never have been able to participate in this farcical “deal”.

Because there’s basically two possibilities here, both bad:

1. He had nothing to do with it, which means he has no control over what his own caucus is doing. That’s a failure of leadership, so he needs to go.
2. He was involved behind the scenes, but was too chickenshit to put his vote on record. Not only is that a betrayal of everyone who is about to get fucked by their medical premiums, it’s also abject cowardice, so he still needs to go.

Of course, he reportedly was actually involved behind the scenes.

Masturbator Johnson already said, even before this “deal” went through, that he’ll refuse to allow any vote on the Obamacare subsidies.

I mean, it’s not like he’s facing any consequences for it, so what does he care?

No, the shutdown is because Congress didn’t pass a budget to allocate new federal funding. Which means that government agencies don’t have any money to pay employees.
