I found SRB2 in the final 1.9.4 (or something like that) demo around 2009 and don’t remember this. Early indeed, crazy how long the community has loved on this work.

My main interest in an FTL “clone” is the variety between runs. I like having a bunch of ships to choose from and a bunch of weapons and gadgets to experiment with, any gauge on how it fares in that department?

I’ve noticed they’re sponsoring YouTubers to make shorts about “how they’re improving the game” and the influencers are even allowed to talk about how bad the launch was.
