Hate Israel all you want, rightfully so, but the comparison with Nazi Germany is historically inaccurate and politically wrong. Israel is a democracy and not an authoritarian dictatorship. Israel has a problem with right-wing politician and general racism, but so does every western country. The ongoing genocide is a horrible tragedy, but it’s neither Auschwitz nor Warschau. All this comparison does is diminishing actual fascism, Nazism and the Holocaust. And the conparison takes the credibility of everyone doing it.
Of course Israel is a democracy. The vast majority of their people are in agreement on this genocide. We’re not talking about a people beaten down by a dictatorship with no choice but to go along.
Israel occupies the Palestinian land and dictates their lives. They have no say in what israel does to them. It is not a democracy. Because remember the Palestinians are people too and they would very much like the ability to self determine.
Palestinian’s are people. Israel exerts extensive control over there lives and yet does not allow them to vote. Additionally, as part of the israeli basic law only jewish israeli’s are allowed to self determine.
Arabs in Israel are equal by law. The have representatives in the parliament. I’m not trying to deny that Israel is heavily racist in politics and societal, but so is every other country and every other democracy and it doesn’t make Israel not a democracy. Even though it’s democracy is under attack by right wing Likud, but that’s also true for literally every European country.
If you want to call Israel a democracy then you have to specify that it’s an apartheid state too, and if you’re defending an apartheid state then you’ve got other problems, mate.

This is nonsense, it’s like saying the Holocaust wasn’t a genocide because the genocide of Native Americans or the Atlantic slave trade killed many times more people. You sure this isn’t a case of worthy vs. unworthy victims?
Why should Israel be an Apartheid if it is a Democracy? That doesn’t make sense.
And the Holocaust comparison is not one of quantity, but of quality. Building an: industrial complex to kill millions if Jews is historically unprecedented.
Apartheid in South Africa meant no civil rights for black people, no political representation, but separated public spaces. Arabs in Israel have the same civil right as all Israelis, the can vote and they have several parties in the parliament. No public places are ethnically separated.
Israel is not an Apartheid, that’s an (empirical) fact.
So because it isn’t identical to South African apartheid, then it can’t be apartheid? They are two different circumstances, of course they are going to be different.

“Israel is a democracy”
Okay, so was 1870s America, yet that didn’t stop it from performing either Jim Crow segregation (as in the meme) or genocide of minorities (as would be more accurate).
The ongoing genocide is a horrible tragedy, but it’s neither Auschwitz nor Warschau.
It’s not Auschwitz, but it definitely has strong parralels to Warsaw.
I think it would be more accurate to draw the line directly from the US genocide of Native American peoples to Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, but regardless, the comparison with Nazi Germany is not inherently incorrect. The way it would be incorrect is if the meme was accusing Israel of, specifically, imitating Nazi Germany’s uniquely industrialized style of genocide (which may make good rhetoric, but fails as a serious comparison) or some manner of comparison of the political structures of the states (which, other than sharing ethnonationalist values, are vastly different), neither of which it is doing.

Lol you lost me already.

Do you have any arguments?

I don’t know bud, if that question is so important to you then you can work it out on your own.
It is a fact that Israel is an apartheid state.
Great argument.

Gaza itself is ethnically separated.
