I mentioned the USSR being the reason why Nazis didn’t exterminate your ethnicity, but the USSR was a plurinational state composed of many ethnicities. Many Ukrainians, Belarusians, Uzbeki, Kazakh, and many of the nationalities of Russia such as Bashkir, Slavic Russians or Mari gave their lives defending your family from Nazism.
